SNIPEF will be holding its annual Golf Tournament on Friday 06 September 2024 at Downfield Golf Club. Bring your team together and meet with business associates. Golfers can compete for both individual and team trophies, but the event is primarily an opportunity for members to come together and enjoy a day on the course. There are prizes to be won too!

The maximum handicap for the day will be 24. This will also apply for any golfers without an official handicap. Scoring for the competition will be made on a Stableford basis.
The cost per team of four is £360 plus VAT.
This includes:
First tee time will be at 9:30am. We recommend each team to arrive in between 60 minutes to 75 minutes before to enjoy a breakfast and warm up.

From 9:30am: Teams take their place at their confirmed start time and tee-off. Tee off is every 10 minutes.

Prizes: Winners will be announced at the end of the day.
The Stableford scoring system is a popular method used in golf to calculate a player’s score based on their performance on each hole. Unlike traditional stroke play, where the player with the lowest score wins, Stableford assigns point values to different outcomes on each hole. This system provides golfers with a more forgiving scoring method, allowing them to recover from a bad hole and still have a chance at a good overall score.
By assigning point values to different scores, the system encourages players to aim for better scores while also ensuring that a poor performance on a single hole doesn’t ruin the entire round. This provides a sense of fairness and allows golfers to compete against their own capabilities rather than being solely focused on beating their opponents.
All details and rules will be explained on the event day.
This event is for SNIPEF members and associate members, their staff and business associates only.
