Become a Member
To become a member of SNIPEF, you must:
- Your company must employ more than 51% graded operatives. For clarification on grading, check with SNIJIB.
- Have a minimum of £2 million public liability insurance and adequate employers' liability as appropriate.
- Allow SNIPEF to contact your local trading standards office and local plumbers' association for basic background checks.
The application process takes approximately two weeks, contingent upon the receipt of all necessary information to fulfill membership criteria.
You may opt to pay the annual subscription in a single payment or through Direct Debit spread over 12 months, with no additional charges.

**Payable for each plumbing/heating operative, up to a maximum of 70 operatives. Directors, owners, partners and apprentices are non-chargeable.
Our membership year runs 1 January – 31 December and the fee is payable in one lump sum or by monthly Direct Debit.
Your membership fee is tax-deductible as a bona fide business expense and represents exceptional value. Often advice received concerning one problem can save your business several times your annual membership fee!
