SNIPEF is heading to InstallerSHOW
June 18, 2025

SNIPEF will be exhibiting at InstallerSHOW 2025, taking place from 24–26 June at the NEC Birmingham.
InstallerSHOW is the UK’s largest trade event for the plumbing, heating, electrical and renewables sectors, attracting thousands of industry professionals and suppliers from across the country.

You’ll find SNIPEF at Stand 5E76, hosted in partnership with MCS. Representing SNIPEF across the three days will be President Duncan Sharp, Chief Executive Fiona Hodgson, Vice President Steve Craig, and Membership Manager Gail Hume.
The team will be available to speak with members and visitors, provide updates on SNIPEF activities, and highlight key areas of support and industry engagement.
We are also pleased to see over 30 SNIPEF Affiliate Partners exhibiting at this year’s show. Their presence reflects the strength of our supply chain and offers an opportunity to connect directly with trusted manufacturers and service providers.

Launch of “Start at Home” Report with Nesta
As part of our presence at InstallerSHOW, SNIPEF will be launching its “Start at Home” report, developed in collaboration with Nesta.

This report explores how early-stage installers can be supported into the low-carbon workforce through structured, supervised experience on real-world heat pump installations. The model proposes a flexible, safe transition phase, rather than the current ‘all-or-nothing’ entry standard, and highlights opportunities to expand the workforce while maintaining quality and consumer confidence.
Fiona Hodgson, along with SNIPEF members Scott McAllister and Eric MacRae, will take part in a series of panel sessions at the show to discuss the findings and recommendations of the Start at Home report, a topic already generating significant discussion.
They will be speaking at the following times and locations:
- Tuesday at 1:45 PM – Nesta Stand (5G25)
- Tuesday at 4:00 PM – Elemental Arena
- Wednesday at 1:30 PM – Nesta Stand (5G25)
Copies of the report will be available to download following its launch.
