SNIPEF calls on employers to secure final fully funded apprenticeship places.

September 29, 2023

SNIPEF is urging members to secure the remaining fully funded apprenticeship places before colleges cease admissions in November.

Employers near Dundee & Angus College have a slight reprieve, with courses starting on 25 October, while plumbing and heating courses at Perth College UHI begin in February 2024.

Following SNIPEF’s success in securing unprecedented funding from Skills Development Scotland earlier this year, 336 of the 400 plumbing and heating-funded places have now been fully secured.

Apprentices can bring many benefits to a business, infusing fresh energy, innovative perspectives, and up-to-date training into the workplace. They can help elevate service quality, boost employee retention, and enhance productivity.

Integrating apprentices into your workforce solidifies the foundation for your business's future and contributes significantly to the broader profession, ensuring its sustainability and relevance.
