ISG Group subsidiaries file for adminstration

September 20, 2024

This situation is unfolding rapidly, and we understand that it may cause concern and uncertainty, especially for those currently engaged in projects with these companies.

We are currently in discussions with our legal and financial advisors to fully understand the implications of this situation. Our goal is to provide you with accurate, practical advice to help you navigate any challenges that may arise.

Actions for members with exposure to ISG

If you believe you have exposure to ISG companies, we would advise the following immediate actions:

  • Review your contracts and projects with the affected ISG subsidiaries. Assess any ongoing work to determine the stage of each project and identify any outstanding deliverables.
  • If safe and permissible, visit your project sites to retrieve any tools, equipment or materials that belong to you. Ensure you have documented proof of ownership for any assets you remove to prevent any disputes. It may be the case that sites have now been closed and secured.
  • Document all work completed to date. Take detailed photographs, videos and notes as this documentation will be crucial for any future claims or negotiations.
  • Prepare your financial records by compiling a comprehensive list of all outstanding invoices, including amounts due, due dates and any retention sums. Keep records of all communications and transactions related to your ISG projects for reference.
  • Stay in communication with your usual ISG representatives to remain informed of any developments.
  • Do not pursue unauthorised actions such as attempting to remove materials or equipment that are not legally yours. Also, ensure you do not cause any damage to the sites or completed works.

I expect to be able to provide a further update and guidance on Monday. However, to better assist you, please let us know if you are affected by this situation. Share any relevant information about your projects with ISG, including the subsidiaries involved and the nature of the work, by either emailing CEO@snipef.org or by contacting our project lead, Richard Campbell, on 07710 542 381.
