About the Festival
The Green Home Festival is the brainchild of the Construction Industry Collective Voice (CICV), a coalition of Scotland's leading construction trade and professional bodies.
Representatives from its 29 organisations will once again be pooling their expertise and knowledge to deliver the event as part of the 2024 Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
The Green Home Festival is completely free and will be held at Charlotte Square in the heart of Edinburgh.
Green Home Festival 2024
Running from 12-16 August, the third Green Home Festival will feature a variety of shows, which will all be free to attend. All shows are in-person and will take place in a marquee in Charlotte Square Gardens, Edinburgh. The climate emergency, net zero and soaring energy prices are the driving factors behind the Green Home Festival. Our aim is to engage the public and businesses in the global challenge, offering demonstrations and hands-on guidance to help everyone reduce their carbon footprint and become more energy efficient. With the ongoing cooperation of the Scottish construction sector, the CICV has now made the festival an annual event that will help build a long-term legacy and demonstrate our commitment to greener and cheaper low-carbon solutions.
