TechTalk Aberdeen is a free-to-attend event designed to support plumbing and heating professionals in confidently navigating building regulations and compliance in their everyday work. This year’s theme, “Building Regulations – Understanding Compliance in Practice”, brings together industry experts to provide practical insight into key regulatory requirements and upcoming changes affecting the industry.

Session One: 8.35–9.35 – Understanding Key Regulations
This session will explore upcoming compliance updates to Scottish building standards, followed by an overview of UK fire safety regulations and the key requirements professionals should be aware of.

Session Two: 9.50–10.30 – Compliance in Practice
Building on the first session, this session will focus on practical application of regulations in daily work, including the approved certifier of construction scheme. It will also look at domestic liquid fuel storage and supply, providing practical guidance on the key requirements and considerations for plumbing and heating professionals working with liquid fuel systems.
