The deadline for businesses to start using the new UK Conformity Assessed (UKCA) mark has been extended to 31 December 2024, with construction projects having an additional extension to 30 June 2025.

The decision by the UK government to allow the continued use of the EU CE mark for an additional 2-2.5 years is to provide businesses with the extra time and flexibility in adapting their operations to post-Brexit requirements.
